CMG Connection Point Showing as Disconnected
Question
Using Cloud Deployment model Virtual machine Scale Set.
Able to deploy CMG, having issue in CMG connection point. It is showing as disconnected.
Getting below error in SMS_CLoud_ProxyCOnnector.log
ERROR: Failed to build HttpV2 connection 4ee8a8a5-f286-48bb-b5ae-2e6cf39f6e44 with server CMGSP120589.CLOUDAPP.NET:443. Onpremise :SCCM4.SCCMSUNIL.COM
Domain Name:SCCMSUNIl.COM
Created Cname entry in Global DNS as
cmgsp120589 | cmgsp120589.cloudapp.net |
Created Cname entry in Internal DNS
Alias Name:cmgsp120589
FQDN:cmgsp120589.sccmsunil.com
Target Host FQDN: cmgsp120589.cloudapp.net
Do I need to create any other Cname entry or different entry in DNS.

Hi Sunil,
One thing i have noticed the CMG service name should have suffix “cloudapp.azure.com” which i do not see.
and for test you need to dig in the logs and share your findings.
Have you tried SCCM CMG Troubleshooting with CMG Connection Analyzer?
You will need to make sure the name resolution is in place?
