CMG setup fails with Cloud Services (classic)

Question

Hi All,

I am trying to setup a CMG using 3rd party cert (CLoudFlare).
We have followed https://systemcenterdudes.com/setup-and-configure-sccm-cloud-management-gateway-1806/ however is fails.

THis is what it show on AZure sigin logsĀ  : The create deployment operation failed for the domain ‘***becmg’ in the deploymentCloudMgr.log slot ‘Production’ with the name ‘***becmg-deployment’: ‘Instead of creating Cloud Services (classic), you should now create Cloud Services (extended support) using Azure Resource Manager. Cloudmgr.log says :

Is it that there is other way to configure CMG nowdays or it is conflicting with Storage slot as it says in the log?

Please advise.

  1. The option to deploy a CMG as a cloud service (classic) is deprecated. All CMG deployments should use a virtual machine scale set.
