Collection Maintenance window / Email notification

Question

I have an config Manager environment with Software update set and working like a charm. 4 collections with 4 different maintenance window.

Need to check possible solution to get Email alert form SCCM before software update starts on each collection. can we accomplish this using SCCM ?

    That is okay but I am trying to understand what you or management is trying to achieve with this ?

    Regarding email alert on collection before patching haven’t seen this implementation , might be someone in the forum can better answer.
