During MECM 2002 Service Update Getting Prerequisites failed with DB Error
Question
Dear All,
I have recently installed MECM 2002 but during Service Update when I clicked on the hotfix I am getting a prerequisite failed, and when I diagnosed the log found some DB permission error.
And then I verified the Db permission and all seems perfectly fine.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this.

It is very difficult to read from the screenshot you have pasted, can you share the screenshot on snipboard, also paste informatioon related to log file here, when you run the prereq checker at what point it shows the error in console?
Ankit that issue is fixed by fixing the SQL cluster thanks anoop & Ankit for replying.
Its a project task Anoop we cannot raise a ticket even today also I have verified all the prerequisites but don’t know it failed, any support or remote support is possible?
Did you get any fix for this?
Anoop I have already verified the Failure mode from auto to manual its there but don’t know why every time it says NT Authority/System does not have sysadmin I have verified its not there now I have given in both the DB but still its giving the same error.
It’s difficult to troubleshoot further without a proper remote session.
I think it’s better to raise a ticket with Microsoft

And the SQL is located on same subnet yes not the same sccm but in the same subnet with Always on available group cluster sql 2019.
Sql availability group should be set to manual failover
Set SQL Server Always On availability groups to manual failover
If you use an availability group, make sure that the availability group is set to manual failover before you start the update installation. After the site has updated, you can restore failover to be automatic. For more information,

Anoop the log which I am referring to is “ConfigMgrPrereq”
Yes, anoop the account I am using in SCCM has sysadmin permission for the DB.
I have reverified.
Then this should something to with name resolution/Firewall?
DO you have a remote SQL server?
Can you please share the exact error from the log file?
And which is that log file?
You mentioned that it seems the permissions are fine.
Can you share what is the permission that you have in DB?
Do you have SysAdmin permissions?
