Ethernet properties changes, need a script/package to deploy via SCCM

Question

Here are the setting and steps required

  • Wired AutoConfig Services – Current status is stop and it set to manual, please change to the following
    1. Enable service
    2. Change from Manual to Automatic
  • Once the Wired AutoConfig is enable an additional tap will appear in the Ethernet proprieties called “Authentication”. Go to Authentication tap and select network authentication method as “Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP)”
  • Click on Additional Setting
    1. Check “Specify Authentication mode”
    2. From the drop menu select “User or Computer Authentication”
    3. Click OK, this will return you to the Authentication tap
  • Click on the Setting next to the PEAP, and click on the “Configure” next to EAP MSCHAPv2. Check the box next to “Automatic use my Windows Login”.     This has to be done internally as it requires certificate and profile import.

    Can any one help me with the script or reg edit idea it will be great.

  1. I think this is a scripting requirement. Isn’t it?

    Once you have the script, you can deploy it through SCCM.

    Unfortunately I don’t think I have any ready to use scripts available for this..
