2. Can we not able to push win-7 updates with out licensing? Because we have couple of win-7 devices with out licence. But patches are appear in SCCM console but there is no required devices. Thank you

Windows 7 is no longer supported and Microsoft does not provide patches for them. Keep this in mind that if you have any Windows 7 systems in your environment, then they are highly vulnerable to security vulnerabilities and could jeopardize your organization. I recommend that you upgrade them to Windows 10 ASAP.

You mentioned patching was not performed for quite few months now

How is health of you SUP … is it successful Sync ?

Are you machines able to scan successfully against the latest catalog ?

I guess for Win 7 you need to buy additional support from with extra charges and they may release only you as a customer WIn 7 patches and you may need to Inject them in WSUS manually.

      Hi Karthikeyan,

Thank you for the response. Sure going forward i will raise individual questions.

KArthikeyan : How frequence your SUP Sync is configured and how software update scan is configured on client settings?

Ashok : Both are 7 days by default.

Karthikeyan : License means what your telling windows 7 machines are not activated or supported ended meaning?

Ashok: I mean since windows 7 out of support. Still if we want manage win-7 devices we need to by licence but we didn’t purchase yet. Now my question is with out licence can we able to push updates for w-7 devices. As per Harjit reply below MS will not going to give any update with out licence. Any article please? Thank you.

      Regards,
      Ashok
