Metadata is not coming in SCCM console.

Question

I have a question regarding the Software update.

When I’m syncing the updates from Microsoft. Metadata is not coming in the SCCM console.

I’d checked the below logs:

  • WSUSctrl.log
  • WCM.log
  • Wsyncmgr.log

I did not find any error here.

But under WSUS — > Synchronization tab –> It is showing cancelled. 2 Problemo - HTMD Forum - Welcome to the world of Device Management!     Are you able to see the metadata in WSUS console?

    Any clue in the event log about WSUS cancellation?

      Any clue in the event log about WSUS cancellation? –
      – I had missed this Event viewer part.
      – Now, I have open the inbound ports 1433 and 4022, and now things are working as expected.

      Are you able to see the metadata in the WSUS console?
      – Earlier Metadata was coming, but now it is working fine after configuring the above two Inbound ports.
