Why are we even setting it for the infrastructure where SCCM is not allowed? WSUS doesn’t provide low level settings which can be very dangerous for an Infrastructure running production servers.
We can give justification to the team who is opposing not to install SCCM in their production.
I agree with Mohan.
The granularity of WSUS settings is very limited if you compare them with SCCM SUP.
Because you need to handle all those settings via Group Policy or PowerShell scripting method etc…

Hi Mohan,
You need to create some registry settings for client behavior with different settings, please refer below MS link for GPO settings for WSUS policies
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-server-update-services/deploy/4-configure-group-policy-settings-for-automatic-updates#group-policy-settings-for-wsus-client-updates
Thank you. I willl go through the link. If we are managing updates through wsus,is computer will automatically reboot after the patch installation.
