    Hi,

All your client machines are trying to contact directly from microsoft catalog server to get the latest update.

Is that automatic windows update is enabled all machines via GPO or client side locally ?

    Thanks

Do you have the setting “Show notifications for new deployments” set as Yes under Computer Agent in Client Settings?

Also, what do you have set for User Notification under User Experience in the deployment(s)?

I had observed this symptom on a few random machines and not on all machines.
    1. Clean CCMcache, Software Distribution, Windows Temp folder
    2. Restart SMS agent service and let the machine resync its client with the MEM server.
    3. It takes some time and the agent will be able to report correct status.

Also for a few machines, I had to connect them to Online Windows Update and download the missing updates and in this process, it auto-fixes the WU components on the machine. I had 2 – 3 machines so I could afford to take these machines online on internet and sync once with Microsoft updates
