SCCM 2107 : Windows Servicing Windows 11 Feature Upgrade Required count showing less number than expected.

Question

We are in process to configuring SCCM Windows servicing Feature update for updating to Win 11 from Win 10 20h2. However, we have around 20K Win 10 20H2 machines in our environment but when I look at under Windows ServicingAll Windows Feature Updates
and Upgrade to Win 11 ( Business edition ) patch/update the Required count is around 3K.

We haven’t been patched our environment from past 4 months due to various reasons and we have resumed our patching this week and got completed ( January patches installed & rebooted ) around 10K 20H2 machines. But still the Upgrade to win 11 showing with 3K devices. Need your guidance to understand any rechecks or pre requirements to validate or check to have these Win 11 required count increase. Attaching the screen shot for reference. Pls advise.

Many Thanks,

  1. I think the best option is check why many of those machines are not ready for Windows 11 upgrade? This could be because of hardware requirements of Windows 11.

The following report gives you insights of these details and that will help you to understand what is happening with rest of the systems.
