Software update error – Job error (0x80240438)
Question
Hi,
need urgent help to fix below error. Push software update from sccm to collection of servers, some of the servers got updates without any issue but some of them are showing in unknown (client check passed / active).
following article but not help as not using any proxy.

Issue is only some of the servers, again issue came with new some of the server, even change registry change but still getting same error code. any suggestions.

Issue got resolved after change connection proxy setting in registry on problematic servers. thanks
Do you have this error 0x80240438 for all the devices or only a few machines?
I think you need to make sure the Antivirus software/security policy is blocking something on the SCCM client devices…
