SQL Reporting services 2017 – Unable to select instance ID
Question
Hi Team,
I had installed SQL 2017 with default instance “MSSQLSERVER” in my testing lab for SCCM 1902 setup, while installing reporting services 2017, it automatically creating one instance as “SSRS”, without selecting default one. Because of this I can’t able to configure Report server and also Reporting services point role(While configuring it’s not showing any instance).
As per below image, its getting verified by DB server name but, not listing Report server instance, actually I need to add report server on existing SQL instance (MSSQLSERVER) here.
Kindly help on this to solve, Thanks in advance!

Yes, DB created and configured for SSRS instance using SQL Reporting Services console as Report server, but the SCCM DB instance was (MSSQLSERVER) default one, I was unable to select that instance while configuring the Report DB.
Can you make sure there is a DB created for SQL reporting server?
