Third party patching

Question

Does anyone have an idea or heard the term 3P secure (or is it refer to some other thing?) which is used for third party patching. I do not have any idea about this. Even I checked on the internet I did not find anything.

    Information and Data I have:
CCM Logs of client machines. ✓

    – This should give some idea by looking at the application logs such as AppIntentEval, AppEnforce, and AppDiscovery, however it’s not always easy to read or get a clear picture.

    Information I don’t have:
    Infrastructure X
How patches are being deployed X
what versions are currently in production X
SCCM Console access. (This is handled by the different vendor) X

    – This part is needed and would help with the investigation. For example, how patches are being deployed. Is a 3rd party application patching tool used, is supersedence method used, deployment timelines, detection methods, and much more.

Recently I joined a new project, where I have to find out the Root cause why patches are not appearing on the machine.

    Information and Data I have:
CCM Logs of client machines. ✓

    Information I don’t have:
    Infrastructure X
How patches are being deployed X
what versions are currently in production X
SCCM Console access. (This is handled by the different vendor) X

What do you suggest in this case?

In case I get any information I will share it in a group. Thank you.

  1. Me too.. I have not heard about this product.

Are you trying to have this for vulnerability scanning or directly patching Windows 10 devices?

Is there any integration with SCCM that you are looking for here?
