Unable to create Cloud Management Gateway
Question
Hello Friends,
I am testing the SCCM-CMG feature in SCCM CB 2103 test lab with my test Azure tenant. I have created Azure Service in SCCM by importing the server and client apps. Below snaps for ref.
The issue is when I am trying to create Cloud Management Gateway in SCCM getting an error as “A valid Azure AD app is required. Please deploy the Azure Service for Cloud Management first.” on the Create Cloud Management Gateway Wizard page after I sign in. Below snap for ref.
My sign-in id is having Azure Global Administrator and Subscription Owner rights.
One thing I observed is that my subscription’s offer is CSP and missing Microsoft.ClassicCompute resource providers. Below snaps for ref.
So please let me know what I am missing here. I am not sure about the need of offer for subscription and Microsoft.ClassicCompute resource providers.
Thanks.

As checked with Microsoft, Azure subscription with CSP program/offer does not support the cloud service (classic) method or classic deployment. Below are ref link of TechNet forum
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/4ed9e865-4487-4220-a2c7-906a6f4c67e9/microsoftclassiccompute-resource-provider-not-available-on-csp-account
Also same is mentioned in below link.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/core/clients/manage/cmg/plan-cloud-management-gateway
After that, I checked Azure Free Trial subscription and I am successfully able to create CMG with it.
Any suggestions, please.
