Upgrade SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 infrastructure with latest Current branch
Question
Hello,
We are planning to upgrade our SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 infrastructure with the latest Current branch + co-management. We have 1 Primary server and 2 secondary servers with the windows server 2012 r2 OS in our environment.
Need you guidance how we can proceed with the latest Current branch and what would be the prerequisites and consideration.
Is is possible to in-console upgrade from sccm 2012 to current branch ?
Do we need to go with in-place upgrade ?
what is the minimum domain functional level required ?
What is the windows server OS version and SQL version required to upgrade with the latest current branch ?

You don’t need to upgrade to new hardware.
You can download the Baseline version of SCCM current branch and double click on the setup file to upgrade from 2012 to CB

In console upgrade is not possible from 2022 to CB
In console upgrade is possible Once you are in CB
Domain level is fine if you are already running 2012
