Hello All

I see all the devices in my org are showing below msg in event viewer and ccmsetup log is updating daily

Windows Installer reconfigured the product. Product Name: Configuration Manager Client. Product Version: 5.00.8853.1000. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Reconfiguration success or error status: 0.

 

came to know this issue when some clients are failing with 1603 error while reconfiguring, no taskscheduler is configured

    Check out whether ccmsetup is showing any client install trigger.

    Sccm client health check rules will automatically try to fix the client issues every night.

    So this is expected behaviour.

    If you see any errors in ccmsetup.log, better to check client.msi.log to get more details

    Pro Tip – search with key word – ‘return value 3’ and you might be able to get the actual reason for failure there
