Windows update not running
Our is co-management environment.
We have pushed April month patches to all windows devices. Last 2 days we are seeing some windows devices ( around 20 so far ) have reported the windows update stucks at 0%. Not running and stays for long time.
Only way is to force restart the PC and resumes the updates and gets finishes.
We are checking and analyzing the logs.
Any one come across such issue , what could be the reason.

How often the client computers are restarted in your environment?
The computers are pending restart, for that reason the updates are downloading to the client computers.
You can refer to the RebootCoordinator.log is there any pending reboot.
Let me check the Log.
I have the checked the ” Rebootcoordinator.log” on 4 affected machines, I could see the pending reboot is present in the log.
So the pending restart was preventing the updating the patches ?
Yes, it may affect the patch installation.
