Well superseded updates – that is it then … so you need to deploy new one … but I think I have copied your last reply and it’s seem there is a typo in the kb article number
Yes anoop sir, we want to deploy new KB4494175 but it is not showing in WSUS console.
You said it shows superseded I’m getting confused… where it shows superseded if it’s not visible in wsus
this 2020-01 update for windows server 2016 (KB4494175) is showing as expired and superseded by another one.

If one particular update is not required for a computer and it won’t get installed on the computer.
I don’t understand what you mean by decline?
You can see some example flow of Software update installation here

Hi Anoop Sir,
I could see that there are so many updates are declined in WSUS and those declined updates are not showing in SCCM Console…
what I want to know is how updates automatically goes to decline state in WSUS
You can get the details here
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/configmgr/sum/deploy-use/software-updates-maintenance#wsus-cleanup-behavior-starting-in-version-1806
Configuration Manager builds a list of superseded updates from its database. The list is based on the supersedence behavior in the Software Update Point component properties.
The update configuration items meeting the supersedence behavior criteria are expired in the Configuration Manager console.
The updates are declined in WSUS for CAS and primary sites but not for secondary sites.
Hi Anoop Sir,
What actually is that we have issue on KB4494175, it is showing as decline in WSUS but our patching team says that particular patch is well required in our environment.
how can we check whether the this patch is required in our environment from SCCM.
