create a CI to Monitor dfsr Sysvol

Question

Hi All,

Hi friends, I want to create a CI to monitor dfsr sysvol backlog, but I can’t find a way to get it to work as ccm uses the system (I think). Does anyone know how I can achieve this? I have looked into get-dfsrbacklog and the old trusty dfsrdiag, but the system doesn’t have enough perms. Any ideas?

Trav Eastman, have you tried granting the machine account local admin right on all systems within the DSF? At least of a test?

BTW, I assume that the access denied is to the remote machine, not itself

Garth Jones, that might be the case, it seems to me like it is local, though, given how quickly it denies it. I’ll run a test tomorrow with Procmon and double-check the permissions.

Did you test running your script as a local system? https://www.recastsoftware.com/…/how-to-access-the…/

Garth Jones, yeah, I did, I have no access to the system

Trav Eastman, you need to confirm that your script runs a local system, until this is done, there is little point moving forward.

Garth Jones, I have confirmed that running the command as the system gives me access is denied. I have also confirmed that running the command under a CI also gives me access denied. I already tested this as I said in the initial message. Thanks for the input though
