Defaulf file download location on Android devices
Question
I have a question a bit odd: it is possible to configure the default saving location on Android fully managed devices to a cloud service only (i.e. OneDrive for Business) and not anything local?
As in managed apps (i.e. Outlook, Teams, etc.) to download/save any attachments automatically to the cloud, without involving any local save/cache.

Can you please give more clarity here …
1. Have you installed Onedrive for Business via Intune – Client Apps?
2. Is Application Protection policies are in place – Any specific one you want to call out
3. Device Restriction Policies are in place for Android for Enterprise devices via Intune configuration profiles or not
I was wondering whether all the settings are already in place as expected…
1. OneDrive 4 Business Installed via Intune
2. Two Application Protection Policies are in place, one for Outlook and one for Teams
3. Device Restriction policies are also in place. All configured parameters are successfully deployed.
What I try to achieve is a) block the download of any Outlook item locally (this is working as expected, through App Protection policy) and b) allow SOMEHOW the user the choice to save that item to OD4B
Can you cross-check MAM policy with below one … especially “Select apps to exempt”

I will check it. Unfortunately, right now I am somehow very limited with my Internet connectivity. I’ll do it and let you know.
