Difference between Policy CSP and OMA-DM

Question

Hi Anoop,

I had gone through your Day 25 video where you configured CSP to disable Windows update check option. I just would like to check if my understanding is correct between CSP and OMA DM.

From INTUNE :

CSP : Where you configured the policy and assign to devices ( Like GPO )

OMA DM : Intune use this ( OMA DM) as a policy delivery mechanism to push CSP’s in SyncML format to Windows 10 devices ?

From Endpoint :

CSP: Will read SyncML format and set the configuration accordingly ?

CSP = A configuration service provider (CSP) is an interface to read, set, modify, or delete configuration settings on the device. These settings map to registry keys or files.
