Intune APP Protection Policy between managed APP and Unmanaged APP
Question
Dear Team,
Good Day!
I am facing an issue in Intune APP Protection Policy without enrollment. I have created a policy to allow cut, copy and paste the data only between managed apps.
Issue: From the native client app (Gallery) users are able to attach the photos to the outlook and send it from their BYOD.
I was going through couple of articles and found in the below article and its mentioned as some bug.

Please confirm is anyone came across this issue and found workaroundsolution?
Regards,
Visvanathan.

I think this difference is because of the containerization of Office data and personal data.
Hopefully, this issue is already resolved. Hence closing the thread. Try to share the solution to help others in the community.
This “From the native client app (Gallery) users are able to attach the photos to the outlook and send it from their BYOD.” is OK because you don’t want staff to send organization data to gallery (or any other non protected ) app but the other way around is ok. Isn’t it?
Hi Anoop,
Thanks for your prompt response!
We are allowing only managed apps to content exchange between the apps right. My question why gallery is allowing users to attach the photos from their gallery to Managed Outlook client?
