Intune-Azure AD joined and registered Devices

Question


Generally ,we login to Company owned device using our corporate credentials and login to personal device using personal credentials.

Q1.Now, can a Company owned device be both Azure AD joined and registered?

Q2.Similarly, can a personal device be both Azure AD joined and registered?

Q3.In Azure AD joined devices, which all credentials can be used to login?

Q4.In Azure AD registered device,which all credentials can be used to login?

    Local user = Anoop

    Personal Email = [email protected]

    Yes you need to use corp credential to login Azure AD joined device. It’s advised to use local id to login Azure AD joined devices

    Q3. Local and personal credentials are same right if yes then with personal credentials can we login to AAD joined device?

    Q4.with corporate credentials can we login to AAD registered device.?

    Q1 – Azure AD Join devices are superior control than azure ad registered. So there is no use case to have this kind of scenario.

    Q2 – yes, If you want, you can do but that will make your personal device as Corp owned device from device mgmt perspective.

    Q3- Local user and azure ad user assigned to that device

    Q4 – Local user, personal email id (outlook.com live.com hotmail.com )
