Intune joined device got Start menu has tiles for apps not installed
Question
Intune joined device got Start menu has tiles for apps not installed.
When I hop mouse over the app, The first one says Microsoft.Network speed test and second one says MattHafner.wifiAnlyserWe haven’t assigned this apps to any users in our tenant.
Any ideas why we are seeing them. All the user are experiencing the same issue.

Are these web apps and you deployed them as “Web Links” ? If so, this is the expected behavior.
If you didn’t used “Web Links”, what exactly was the deployment method chosen?
Definitely not published as web apps
Please let us know which deployment method and which assignment you used
These apps are not published at all
These are UWP Apps which is by default installed in Windows devices, Unless until you not removed them.
I think you are missing something if these apps are not published. It seems you are deploying scripts or policies to customize tiles in Windows 10. Is it so?
Hello Vishnu,
– Are you experiencing this issue only for All Users (Existing | New) or only for Current logged In Users?
– Interested to confirm you exported the StartMenu Layout with only with required apps.
Can only see this when user logged to device.
I will check about layout and get back to you.
Thanks for your inputs btw

Now i will be working on this.
Thanks for your help once again.
