Intune – Win32 Apps Deployment not working – Assigned as NO
Question
Hi Anoop and Team,
Thanks for all the great help via this forum.
I am following the you tube videos for Intune training, and I am stucked with Win-32 Apps deployment.
When I create the deployment, it creates and uploads the package fine but when I check the overview of my package, it shows Assigned tab as “NO”, however I did assigned the package as required to all my devices. But it keeps showing the same and didn’t update the deployment. (PFA – Win32_Error.PNG)
Notification shows, package uploaded successfully. (PFA -notification.PNG)
I tried deleting the deployment and creating it again but still same result. Not sure where I am doing it wrong.
Any suggestions on this please.

Any update on this ? We have extensive discussion on youtube
It won’t get installed if you are not using Azure AD Registered devices
Hi Jitesh,
I have tried creating two more deployments, one for LOB and other for Win32 app (screenshot attached in question). But with both, Assigned is NO. However, when I create the app and cross check under review page, it shows the assignment properly and even upload the successfully as notification screenshot already attached.
I am able to deploy MS Store for Business apps fine with the same groups.
Anoop C Nair,
Not sure if I am wrong here,
but I have not reached till this step of checking logs. As Intune extension point is not installed yet in machine. I am stucked at deployment phase only in MEM Admin center, where it shows the notification as application uploaded successfully and when I check the overview page of my win-32 or LOB app, it shows Assigned as NO.

I mean IntuneManagementExtension.log
Hey – Probably it’s worth checking the IntuneMgmtAgent log file and also checks the post from Vimal https://www.anoopcnair.com/intune-win32-app-troubleshooting/
Yes, devices are AD joined and I can login with AD admin user.
I will try creating a different Win-32 package and come back with update.
Thanks Jitesh
– Is devices targeted properly enrolled with Intune.
– Had you tried same with different application package ?
