Is it possible to ingest chrome ADMX templates and enforce policy to enable Windows 10 accounts extension without installing the chrome enterprise version
Question
Hi all,
Customer don’t want to push google chrome enterprise version, since users might use customised browser settings depends on their application usage.
is it possible or will it work if we are pushing ADMX templates and enforcing windows 10 accounts extension to be enabled?

Have you checked the registry entries are intact on those problematic devices?
Currently facing some issues with devices which got succeeded with config policy.
I have two queries.
1. Will the chrome ADMX policies work only for hybrid ad/azure AD domain joined devices.
2. Will it break the access if the chrome policy is been pushed to BYOD (Azure Registered and Intune enrolled) devices?
1. Yes it should work for both Azure AD join and Hybrid Azure AD join scenarios.
2. No, we can deploy the correct chrome policy to BYOD devices as well if I’m not wrong… I have tested this through our HTMD training 1 year back?

Hello – Yes we can push ADMX policies against Google and place all the restrictions available through ADMX policies
I have explained a bit in the following post
