Does this work ?
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/devices/hybrid-azuread-join-plan
Generic configuration document for hybrid AD joined environment.
Ok, thank you for your reply. If can help me with any documents which give more info of hybrid scenarios?
Wht is the documentation you are looking for in Hybrid scenario
Can you please be more clearer with the request?
I have seen the device records might get merged automatically after some hours …. this was in a cloud Azure AD registered scenario. (This is recorded in the videos of Free Intune training provided by HTMD)
I think if you still see this then probably you need to check other options from Azure AD connect or something.
But, I don’t think this is a device management topic. Instead this is AAD and AD topic
What you think
Yes I checked as you suggested above but, could not find any stale entry. We just did enrollment yesterday and wanted to test if on prem AD joined device sync bitlocker key after enrollment into Intune. This is what we are checking.
Yes source is On-Prem
Pls answer other questions also to help further 🙂
Have you tried the things I mentioned above?
Hybrid means domain join + azure AD registered. I can see two object in AAD one with MDM Intune and one showing none. Same time I can see only single entry in Intune.
Yes, I know what is hybrid Azure AD joined. But I was checking whether we both are on the same page?
What is the source of the Device records in Azure AD? 1. On-prem 2. Cloud?
If it’s the cloud, you can use the above method (post given above) to clean up. Have you already checked?
One might be an obsolete entry. You can try to confirm this from on-prem AD and using PowerShell command which I used in the post
Can you please provide more details?
Does the hybrid environment mean – Hybrid Azure AD = Domain Join + Azure AD Registration for you?
Can you see two records in Azure AD devices
