MDM and MAM

Question

Hi Guys,

We have plan to deploy iOS and Android enrollment both COD and BYOD. Plan for COD is both MDM and MAM for BYOD  its Only MAM.

The query is, the same user may use both COD and BYOD, so how we can design in terms of groups ( user or device ), other things to be taken care to implement this..

Please need your inputs..

    It’s a combination of both. You can exclude/Intune different types of devices with the same set of users.

    I think it’s worth trying filtering for this use case.

    I use Intune Filters to segregate Windows Vs. Android Vs. iOS Vs. BYOD, CYOD devices, and deployments.

      Thanks for responding and sharing me the link.

      To deploy COD and BYOD, what types of groups is recommended to use ( user or device groups ).
      I am confused on using choosing right groups.

      Can this filters works if the assignment is for both user and device groups ?

      Please advise.
