multiple autopilot deployment profile
Question
HI Everyone,
Hope this email finds everyone well !!
Can we deploy multiple autopilot deployment profiles to a single device? We have an environment where an existing Windows 10 deployment profile is targeted to a group of devices dynamically grouped based on their ZTDID.
Now as per the business need we need to create a Windows 11 deployment profile and target this to the newly procured devices for Windows 11. But we fear if the devices are dynamically grouped using their ZTDID they would automatically become part of the old GROUP and would be deployed with Windows 10 autopilot deployment profile. however, we want to keep the old solution active too for Windows 10 devices and would want the newly created window 11 autopilot deployment to be only targeted to newly shipped devices.
Need someone with expertise in having this answered :).
Hope to hear back soon on this and thanking in advance for the help.

Who is uploading the device details to the Autopilot service? Can they use different devicePhysicalIds entries for new devices?
(device.devicePhysicalIds -any _ -contains “Windows 11”)
As explained in the following post – https://www.anoopcnair.com/windows-autopilot-profile-aad-dynamic-device-groups/
HI Team,
Thanks for the response !!
Our OEM is uploading the hardware hash of the new devices into the autopilot deployment service as per the existing process of Windows 10 devices.
Now we have the scenario. where we are planning to upgrade the devices to window 11 so as per the existing rule any devices that would be registered into autopilot service would become a part of a dynamic group that is based on ZTDID criteria and existing window 10 deployment profile and configuration profile and other stuff would be targeted to it as it was already deployed to the existing group.
We as of now want to keep both scenarios for Windows 10 and would want to create a solution to apply Windows 11 settings only to Windows 11 devices.
So as per the above suggestion, we should create a new Windows 11 Dynamic group based on the membership rule suggested above and have this device group excluded from the deployment profile step that is targeted to Windows 10 devices. Is it going to fix my division-related query right??
Hope to have your valuable assistance too on this in help clear out my query.

Or do i have to keep some other stuff also into consideration?
