Setting up Intune Endpoint Security Firewall Policies for Microsoft Teams

Question

Hi All,

Is Anyone using endpoint security firewall settings through Intune to allow new teams to work? We are blocking all apps except for the ones specified in the firewall. I created an inbound and outbound policy that C:Program FilesWindowsAppsMSTeams_24060.2623.2790.8046_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwems-teams.exe
curious if anyone has it working properly as i cant seem to get it to work but i also dont see anything in the event logs for the firewall.

    I use
ThreatLocker, Inc., ring-fencing. Only allow the app to talk to IPs provided by vendors. If something gets injected in the code, it can’t phone home. Also, the Windows firewall is easy for bad actors to change.

Cherukuri, I created an inbound and outbound with MSTeams_8wekyb3d8bbwe, but the app still won’t let me sign in. Is there anything else I should take into account?

Cherukuri, thank you will give that a try tomorrow

Use the MSTeams package family name instead of the specific version, and it will work
