Systems Build with SSCM Repurpose Through Intune
Question

Looking for some guidance. I have systems that were built with sccm that we want to repurpose to be built through Intune. I have a task sequence I used to wipe the sccm build systems so they are back to OOBE and hardware hash loaded to intune that all works fine. The issues come in when I try to wipe the system through Intune. On the system, if it fails, I am assuming it is because the recovery partition doesn’t have what it needs. Has any successfully done this?

Use the cloud-based install option

I am using the sccm default task sequence partition method. It works no issues were identified.

Chethan, thanks. I didn’t have the MSR; I will add that to see if it makes a difference. But you didn’t do anything with the recovery other than in the format step?

Joe Terracciano, no, I didn’t do any changes or additional configuration. I left the default partition It works fine with manual command line wipe and intune wipe. Make sure you are not disabling the reset option in Windows. If you disable this option, wipe will not work.
