Application installed but not launching as we deployed it through task sequence

Question

Hi All,

Application installed but not launching as we deployed it through task sequence. It’s showing in ARP but while launching its giving an error as per screen shot.

Getting below error not able to find any issues in smsts

  1. Hi Saurabh,

    As Ankit said try to install the application manually (open ‘cmd’ with admin rights and try same command line what you used in the application) and check what is the status on the machine. If you’re able to application the machine..

    If it is working then follow the same procedure in application and add it in the task sequence.

    Hello,

    First thing application not launching should not be related to whether you have installed via task seuqence or not.

    First check the smsts.log and appenforce .log and see that application has installed correctly.
    Also are you creating application logs as well check them also.

    Have you tried to install the application manually first and it launches fine?

    Sometime few application require their source folder to be present when they are run first time, check that.
