Create Task Sequence Media errors Driver package packagid has no source files
Question
Hi Team, I am trying to create OSD Task Sequence’s Stand Alone Media for an office with no distribution point. The wizards succeeds however createtsmedia.log shows error message as “Driver package has no source files”. It shows this message for all the driver packages. I verified each and every drive package source location and it exists. Permissions are also good.
I copied the TS and tried again but no luck. However Task Sequence runs fine with no issues. It’s just happening while creating “Task Sequence Media” for remote offices. Please assist.

Hello, Is the driver package properly created, added and working with Task Sequence ?
+ You can follow the guide for offline media creation – https://www.anoopcnair.com/sccm-configmgr-create-standalone-media/
Hi Jitesh, yes all the drivers are properly created and working fine with the TS. Problem occurs while creating Standalone Media.
Thank you for quick update 🙂 Its good to change the location for “Staging folder”, Media Once more and recreate!
– Ensure you have added the DP while creating Media where all packages are distributed.
lets update with complete logs by hiding sensitive info. Here you can upload – https://snipboard.io/
Hi Jitesh, I followed all the instructions on
https://www.anoopcnair.com/sccm-configmgr-create-standalone-media/
& can confirm that DP is added, staging folder has been changed, the drive has plenty of space.
Expecting more details with logs as asked earlier for help 🙂
