We are planning to upgrade SCCM 2012 CB 1902 to CB 1910 to support feature upgrade from win 10 1809 to 1909. Windows 10 ADK version 1903 version is already installed in our infra so could you please suggest after CB upgrade is there any impact on Boot Image? or Do we also need to update boot Image to DPs?

Thanks for all the answers. I would like to inform you that I did nothing as there was no change in boot image, even not updated custom Boot Image in DPs. Builds were started happening without any issue.

If you have any custom Boot Images, just update them to the DPs and it will take care of updating them to the latest ConfigMgr binaries.

If you have the latest ADK prior to the upgrade, the upgrade process will take care of the boot images.

  1. Hello Gopal, It will not going to impact on Boot Image once you successfully upgraded Adk, You need to distribute the updated Boot Images to DPs. Confirm the Distribution from SCCM Console.
