Hi Team,
Recently we are observing in our environment with few windows devices that the network icon symbol is showing as ” global icon ” ( like round in shape )
Devices have no issues in connection to internet, only the network icon symbol changes to global icon in both wifi and lan cases.

Hello Alex,
I have also seen this issue on 1909 and it seems to be a bug where machine shows no internet connection. It is due to NLA service on machine.
Check below registry and see if it fixes the issue.
Go to registry editor
Hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\services\nlasvc\parameters\internet
Open- enableactiveprobing
Change value data from 0 to 1
Ok and restart
Thank you Ankit, for advise.
I am checking the option.
Thank you for all details. This was a known issue. As also Ankit mentioned with that registry, you can fix it.
After checking, I got to know As per MS Article, This issue is resolved in KB4554364 for Windows 10 Version 1909 & Windows 10 Version 2004, It’s in KB4577063. Can you give a try and let us update.

The fix patch looks to be released in month of Feb 2020. Our device are updated with latest patch April 21. But still the issue re-occured on few devices though the latest patch has been installed.
I am checking on this for more info.
